We had housekeeping to do this morning after sleeping in a bit, so it was washing a half hour's walk away (when I was hanging it on our balcony I found we have a machine that wasn't listed on airbnb), D found a good hardware shop and re-tipped our walking poles, then the supermarket for lunch and dinner supplies. We had lunch, D had a nap, and it was nearly 15:30 before we got away.
We went back to Vic Emmanuel gallery to the Leonardo exhibition. It is 500yrs since his death, and it is being celebrated around the world (incl Palazzo Vecchio). I was a bit disappointed in it. We didn't get an audio guide, but there was very little in English, and we must have missed a lot. There were great exhibits of inventions he made and wrote about, but very little working, or doing anything, or even videos of how things went. I was tired, hot (it was stuffy), thirsty (I had forgotten my drink bottle, and the taps in the WC didn't work), and when I sat down to watch a video kept going to sleep. So by about 18:00 we left, and had late a'noon tea at McD, and came home.
Lots of flying machines

We made some wooden models
