Monday 19 August
We had plenty of time for our 11:30 train, but that was just as well
because we went to the wrong place and got in the wrong queue, again.
It was a nice trip, though going backwards means very few photos to
chose from. The border guards did most of their work as we moved, which
saved a lot of time. We missed getting a photo of the actual border,
but there was a graded road and wire and sensors.
Our building, with our window 2nd floor, on the right of the bulge.
Goodbye, dreary apartments.
What looks like a prison: barbed wire and guard boxes.
Vyborg, last Russian city.
Lots of timber on both sides of the border.
Agriculture in Finland
Rocks and pine forests.
